Frequently Asked Questions
We know you might have questions about how our ‘love therapy’ retreats work, what to expect and whether this is the right step for you, so we've gathered some answers to help you decide…
1. What makes this retreat different from a regular wellness retreat?
Our retreats go beyond relaxation or self-care - they offer experienced therapeutic guidance to help you pause and listen to yourself -to put yourself first. Led by qualified psychotherapists, you’ll engage in structured sessions, guided exercises, and deep reflection designed to help you understand your patterns, heal emotional wounds, and create a clear plan for your future. Whatever package is right for you we want you to stop, spend time on yourself and attend to your own needs.
2. Do I need to have been in therapy before?
Not at all. It is your choice what retreat package feels comfortable for you, there is no pressure to do therapy. Our retreats are suitable for both first-time therapy participants and those who’ve already worked with a therapist. The programmes offer accessible, step-by-step guidance, making it easy to engage at your own pace.
3. How do you define retreat?
A retreat is the act of withdrawing from everyday life, involving a move to a quiet secluded place. We aim to attend to your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to provide a quiet private space where you can find your own voice again.
4. Who leads the retreats?
All retreats are led by qualified psychotherapists Laila and Sara who specialise in trauma and relationship dynamics. You’ll be guided by professionals who are experienced in supporting women through periods of change, loss, and personal growth.
5. What kind of results can I expect?
While every journey is unique, most participants leave feeling more grounded, self-aware, and empowered — with a clearer sense of identity and direction. You’ll gain practical tools and a concrete plan for continuing your healing beyond the retreat.
6. Do you only work with women?
Our focus and expertise lie in supporting women through relationship challenges and personal healing, which shapes the tone and structure of our programmes. However, we welcome anyone who feels that our approach and values resonate with them and who would benefit from this kind of therapeutic space.
